The servers will be offline and unavailable for a maximum of 3 hours on Saturday morning, from 10:00am till 1:00pm.

The downtime will be for routine maintenance on all servers, plus a hardware upgrade for the web server.

Due to our limited manpower here, when there is a problem or an issue, it is impractical to email everyone individually and taking numerous individual phone calls and emails while trying to work a problem delays the solution even further.

To this end, I have migrated the Maksystems website to a new CMS (content management system) that incorporates an easy-to-use blog, while also allowing for quick and instant updates.

I’ve been learning the system over the past month or so and have worked with it quite a bit to familiarize myself with its capabilities.

This change only affects our ‘static’ web site, it has no impact at all on the dynamic web sites that we have produced for your customers.
